Does my caller need an app or a special phone?
No. Your caller uses whatever phone they already have, including a landline, and just talks. TalkTool speaks to each of you in your own language, with the other person's real voice faintly underneath.
How fast is it?
Translation follows each spoken turn. Response time varies with language, speech length and network conditions. Let the translated audio finish and confirm important names, numbers and dates.
Can I add it to the phone system I already have?
Yes. From any system that can three-way a call, including RingCentral, Dialpad, 8x8, Zoom Phone, or a plain desk phone, you add TalkTool to the call and everyone hears the translation. There is no integration project.
What do I get after the call?
The whole conversation in both languages, the recording, and an AI summary with action items. Voicemails come back the same way: transcribed, translated, and summarized, so you can listen in your own language.
Is it suitable for healthcare?
A BAA is available on the Scale plan, and any account can turn off recordings, transcripts, and summaries. Clinics use dedicated numbers with a caller language menu so patients reach the front desk in their own language.
